Dear Reader!

This is to inform you briefly about the content of the web page and the materials you can read in English.

The aim of the project that gave birth to this page was to create an interactive web manual for all those, who would like to learn (learn more) about the third sector in the Visegrad countries - Slovakia, Poland, The Czech Republic and Hungary (V4). The users of the manual can test their own knowledge via specific educational materials and get inspired by the case studies.
As the English was the language that made easier the communication of the experts from the four nations, you can find some materials in English, too.

The main target groups of the manual are NGOs and other persons or institutions from the involved states that are interested in the mission and the activities of the non-profit sector. Most of them do not understand English; this is why the priority of the web page was to provide information in their mother tongue.

In the left red field of the page you can find the contents of the manual. Under the chapters listed in the contents, the following texts are available in English:

History: History of civil society in the Czech Republic and in Poland.

The European Union: Case studies from Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Dear colleagues, trainers and consultants!

The primary aim of the second level is to give more inspiration or guideline for you to help your work. You can find: exercises that can be used on trainings, situational games, other tests, that are useful on trainings for groups or individuals.

You can use all these materials free with two expectations of the writers:

The materials you can use only for development of civic organizations! Don’t use them on commercial aims!
